BitchFest

OK, first let me warn you I may use foul language. Second, I am not looking for a pity party just need to let off steam. Thanks in advance for reading.

I have worked my ass off to try to show a loss tonight. I stayed away from any takeout, all the goodies in my office including chips. I have worked out 3 times this week and I know for some that is not alot but for me it's normal.

So, I happily jump on the scale this morning to check in before going this evening. What do I find??? That my scale is being a hostile bitch and is showing me +1. COME ON!

For weeks I have been struggling and never in a year and a half have I contemplated switching programs. I am done... I need to switch up programs, now whether or not I do core or change completely to something different. It's happening. For weeks, I have had people constantly tell me to switch programs because they had success with something they believe in. Shit I hate it when I show people they were right.... I am so hard headed.

So unless some miracle happens at 6 PM tonight. I will more then likely show a small gain. Honestly I believe if I do show a gain, I will need to be driven to the nearest mental institution secluded in a rubber room.
I am so mad at the world, I did not sleep well and this certainly did not help.

Sorry sometimes you just need to let some steam go, before heading to work with the public!

I am thinking about working out 5 days next week, just to see if it makes a difference. I think I will restart to take aquafit class, maybe do one day of aerobics, and then walk the rest of the days.

To my enemy the scale from hell, I say to you.... Watch out bitch because the numbers will go down.

How to properly weight yourself

Oh Julie, this is disappointing -- I know where you are coming from.

It could be that your home scales are not the most accurate, and possibly when you get to your official weigh in, it will not register the same on theirs (hopefully less).

I hope that is the case for you.

best wishes,
Sharon

Argh, I hate that too. I hope the bitchfest helped make you feel better...I know a good rant usually works for me.

Try the Wendy plan. That seems to be the key to a long plateau. It shakes your metabolism back into loss mode. Plus then you get a high point day for a fun splurge. :)

I know how you feel.. I had a couple of weeks like that and then switched to Core to shake things up a bit. I lost 5 lbs in 2 weeks after spending a month playing with the same 2 lbs. Sometimes we just need to shake our bodies up so they will release the weight!
