I have made a decision on Wednesday, I have about 10 co-workers including my bosses. They have been supportive from the beginning of this journey. I realized I was putting so much pressure on myself to make them happy that when I in a rut like I am now, and I gain I feel horrible and I go overboard with eating. I feel like a failure every Thursday going in and everyone asking me and telling them I gained again...
I still want support but I just don't want to discuss my rut right now, I told them all and even though they seem to get why I want to stop talking about my weight loss temporary. I think some were disappointed. OH WELL... I need to do this for me. No one else.
Yesterday I baked up some of the HG soft chocochip cookies. They work out to 1 pt each they were OK tasting nothing to rave about. I like how it only makes 8 cookies so it's not too much.
Today I am off to a city 2 hours away to visit my grandfather in the hospital. He was transferred there Monday and has been waiting for a major heart operation. He will be going into surgery tomorrow. I hope everything goes well but truth be told he's not that healthy to begin with so this could be tough.

WI results
I am not proud of myself but it's important that I stay honest and true to this blog to keep me straight.
I gained 2 lbs, I actually had a talk with my leader and I almost cried. I just feel so frustrated with winter and I can't wait to get out and take long walks.
As I was reading on another blog I was reminded I used to have cheat days and that made me stay in line all week. I have gotten out of that a little so I can cheat all week instead of a day... Not a good plan.
New plan as of today... I will take my cheat DAY back and leave my cheat WEEK out.

My shopping adventure
OK so I did not shop that much I actually stayed under my shopping budget!!I went to Halifax yesterday and got quite of bit for my money! I will proudly list my good buys.
-2 T-shirts
-cargo pants
-2 tank tops
-little summer jacket
-nice shirt for work
-awesome sweater ( I love sweaters)
-a nice shirt that I need to return :( thank god we have that store down here.
- I bought some bath stuff at Lush
-2 pairs of earrings (cheapos!)
I think that's it?! All for the great price of under approximately $225-$240!!
Well OK I did not do that great but I'm still really happy with my choices!
I will be heading out again next month with a friend and I think I will shop more then, so I need to really save my money!
Alright now for the good part : I stayed away from the pretzel Maker and Rocky Mountain Chocolate store.. Both of which I stood in line then while I was waiting I talked myself out of it! Great nsv!
The bad I did eat out twice, for lunch a piece of pizza and pasta salad.
For supper my favorite devil enemy.. McDonald's.
Oh well I got some exercise out of walking around and shopping for 8 hours.

YAY Long Week-End
Already Easter and Spring... WOW
Alright so I have a confession. I did not give in to mini eggs this year but I did give in to devil chocolate kisses and little eggs. Only had about 6 :(
On top of that one of the girls at work, her fiance came home from studying in Quebec, and he brought a dozen of KRIPY KREME doughnuts....Let me start by saying that is no Tim Horton's crappy doughnuts. In the maritimes we do not have the privilege of having a Krispy Kreme, so this was a first for all your staff. We all fell in love!
So I busted my points a little, on the positive side I did stay do some treadmill!
I have no big plans for the week-end. I will plan on going to do more treadmill at some point during this long week-end.
I think we are going shopping in Halifax on Monday. I am looking forward to that!

WI not bad
Tonight's WI was alright, I only gained 0.2!
Today I got to work and realized I had left my lunch at home... So I only had a yogurt all day. Not fun :(
I had two very different people tell me that it looked like I had lost alot lately because my face was getting skinny....After this very slow crawl of a weight loss I'm having lately that was quite nice to hear!!

Devil eggs
I will not give in to temptation of the little devil known as MINI EGGS... I can't seem to stop thinking of these and every time I walk into a store I hear them calling my name....

Monday thoughts
I watched the TLC program last night called " I can make you thin" . It was alright although I felt like it was common sense having said that it repeated alot of what I have been reading in the Beck Diet Solution.
I will continue to watch it's on every Sunday for 5 weeks.
I did not get to do any exercise this week-end. Only some treadmill on Friday.
I have been eating well all week so let's hope that it won't be that bad on Wednesday's WI.
I think there still will be a gain but I'm mentally prepared to move on!

Chicken Julie
I'm a being a huge chicken shit right now!
I did not go to WI, because I ate like a pig for my birthday week and I gained weight.
According to the scale at home a whole 3 lbs up.... I am just taking this week off I have never done this.
I have missed due to snowstorms, but never because I overate and felt horrible.
So back to normal this week!

Reasons to loose weight
Ok so I am reading the Beck Diet Solution book and so far so good. One of the first things it asks you to do is write down the reasons you want to loose weight. At first I thought ... stupid question why else but to be healthy.... but after I started writting down I realized I had more reasons then that obvious healthy one.
I will not share all of them, but a couple!
- I want to shop in a "normal store" for clothes. No more plus size.
- My blood pressure to be normal with little or no meds.
- Not to feel embarrased while exercising.
- feel good about myself!
I think everyone should write down the reasons they want to loose weight and realize what it means to them!
I am gonna try to write more about this book.

Blah Morning
Once again I need to make a commitment. No more junk. I have used the "it's my birthday week and I will stop eating after that" excuse for too long. I need to get back on track.
I did do 20 minutes of treadmill, 10 minutes of stepper over the week-end.
I want to loose 30 lbs before the end of August. More would be great but I am being realistic.
On a side note I believe I might have broken my pinky toe when I hit the corner of the stepper machine this morning. This could suck!

Salsa chicken
I believe I got this recipe from Spark people, I can't remember but I decided to give it a try this week and here it is. I forgot to take a pic:(
Slow-Cooker Salsa Chicken
Ingredients
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
Ingredients

1 cup salsa
1 package reduced sodium taco seasoning
1 can reduced fat cream of mushroom soup (condensed)
1/2 cup reduced fat sour cream
Directions
Directions
Add chicken to slow cooker. Sprinkle taco seasoning over chicken.Pour salsa and soup over chicken.
Cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.Remove from heat and stir in sour cream.
NOTES: You may use half the packet of taco seasoning The newer slow cookers cook a bit faster and you may have to adjust your cooking time based on that!

- I woke up with a huge headache and a strong feeling that TOM is around the corner
-It's casual Friday, I plan to wear my new black T-shirt!!

Bring on cake!!
It's my birthday, I actually convinced my boss to give me the day off!!! I plan on eating a great meal either for lunch or supper.I went to get WI early today so I would not have to worry about that tonight. I did loose 2.4 lbs!
I will you use my flex points for whatever I feel like today! I've been told whatever you eat on your birthday has no calories.... I doubt that theory so I'm gonna use flex!!

Tuesday rambling
I got a free stepper machine from a friend at work. She wanted to get rid of it, and since it's small it's fits perfect in my tiny apartment. I tried it out last night, very tough on my knees but I think I can manage to do some everyday.
I can't wait for this winter to end, I am actually looking forward to walking again!
They are calling for some bad weather tomorrow (again) and I might have the day off.
It's my b-day and I had begged to have it off. There might not be a WI if the roads are bad. I think I loss this week... I want to get WI NOW!
Well I need to get ready to leave I need to go to the DMV to renew my licence.

Saturday Adventures
Already March!!
OK so today I went out to do some shopping. I went to pick out a black T-shirt, I bet it sounds simple enough... but it was not. I did find one that was pretty cute!

Then I headed over to buy a book at Chapters and bought Beck diet solution. Seems like a good read it's about training your brain to think like a thin person!
Then I did groceries... now here comes the embarrassing part. I will try to describe the best I can, but trust me when I say you had to be there!!
I went with my mother to shop, she forgot something in a previous aisle so she left the cart with me....
I wanted a frozen pizza, so I was choosing the best option, I found what I was looking for. So I put it in the cart... Grabbed the cart staring walking, looked in the cart and could not figure out when my mother had picked up all these items. I could not remember any of them... then I spotted a purse which is not my mom's and not mine......
I never so quickly turned around and put back the OTHER LADY'S CART back...
It was actually two younger girls and they were very busy picking out Michelina's dinners to notice I had dashed with their groceries...
I grabbed my cart and met up with my mom I was laughing so hard.
OK then we get to the cash and guess who pulls in behind me... The 2 young girls. So my mother pays then it's my turn to ring in my stuff. I was paying with debit and at the same time I could hear the girls having an argument about who picked up this frozen pizza... They were sisters and the oldest one was blaming the younger sis, because she used to do that with their mother...LOL
OK So I should have maybe said something, but they were not fighting just blaming each other for something in the cart, that in fact I really wanted to try....
Oh well next time I will have to make sure I put in the right cart if I want to try it!!!
