What better way to relax and enjoy a nice spring weekend then a little road trip....

I went to the tiniest province in Canada... Prince Edward Island for the weekend. This time of year it's a ghost town for the most part but I had a blast.

Yes that is my face in the lobster's throat.

Got a honeymoon suite to try to rekindle my rocky relationship. Super nice room :)

King size bed, fireplace, two tvs, two Jacuzzis, balcony, fresh flowers.

Sunday we took a drive around the island to sight see before tourist season starts, it's the best time.

Crazy thing happened while driving... I drove by this and thought why is that lady stopping to take a pic of her dog in the middle of the road.

There was 3 red foxes. Very tame and obviously well fed by people because they follow you to your car to see if you got food... I tried to give them a piece of apple, they did not want it

I think I heard them laugh at me.

Keep in mind, there is no zoom on these pics we were that close.

Then the bad food happened....

Cow's ice cream store... it's been named by Reader's Digest as world's best ice cream *I think they may be right!*

The most expensive chips ever, but they are so worth it. I have bought them a total of three time in my lifetime and wish I had more every time....

New car

So I finally got my new car yesterday.

I chose my dream car... Nissan Murano.

Yes it is pricey but I have never been in a car that I said right off the bat, when I can afford one I will get one. I told myself that years ago when I got in my uncles and I have stuck by that.

It's bittersweet... because I am now debt free and can afford a really nice car, thanks to my inheritance, but my dad is not here to share my happy moments.

I know he would be so happy for me :)

I actually cried a lot today because no one around me seems really happy or supportive of my decision but I am a grown woman who made her choice.

short post

- The scale is finally moving in the right direction

- my relationship is on standby, chances are its done

- Although I am stressed to the max and down in the dumps... I am not stuffing my face with bad food.

-Going car shopping again... really need to find something

-soooooo tired, can't wait for the weekend to sleep in :)

Monday....

I have been sick with a cold all weekend. I did nothing but rest and drink plenty of liquids. I feel better this morning but still not myself.
My appetite has been missing hopefully when it finds it's way back it won't crave bad foods.

No desire to get dressed and go to work today. My life is in a bit of turmoil....

The car thing is a struggle because I am being told spending that much money on a car is ridiculous and retarded since it's just to get me to point A to point B.... well yes but I would like it to look good while doing so.
So I am not sure what to do.

My relationship is suffering for many different reason.... it's looks gloomy.

No desire to work .... just wants to stay in bed and sleep.

Maybe instead of buying a car I will travel the world...there that is my fantasy for this Monday morning....

Dilemma

My big dilemma is nothing weight related....

I need a new car. I have my dad's old car that is 10 yrs old, never maintained. i have been driving it for years and hate it

well now there is something really wrong with it and I don't want to put in money to repair it.

So I am in a good situation money wise to go out and pick a car.

Everybody is giving me opinions and it's stressing me out. So I want more from you guys.

I should start by saying I want a small suv/crossover. No car for me this time. I want what I have always wanted and could never afford.

Please chime in on as many of these questions as you can...

(ask your men if you need to. LOL)

1.New vs used?

2.leather seats?? (remember I have a dog)

3. foreign made car vs. north american ?

4. nice colors you like on cars?

5. certain makes and models you can suggest would be great.

This is my first pick so far.. the Nissan Murano, it has been my dream vehicle for years... but it's pricey so I am a little hesitant

The new Hyundai Tuscon is nice but people tell me they are made cheap....
