Weekend recap

I am back in town, happy to say I did not eat all that bad. I did not do great by any means but still could have been worse.
On Friday, for lunch I had a breakfast plate. Egg, WW toast, 2 slices of bacon, and some hash browns.
Then we had courses all afternoon so I did not eat snacks.

For supper well it was a buffet style, I filled up my plate with rice, 1 very small potato, salad, a piece of meat I am really unsure what it was. It looked like roast beef and it was very thinly sliced. I added lots of veggies, cucumbers, carrots and green/yellow beans.
NO desserts. Even though they looked to die for and everyone at my table commented on the creaminess of the cheesecake.

A funny side note. While I was eating my boss was eating a table away. I heard my name come from his mouth only to look up and see the whole table staring at me.(while eating)
I got so shy I hate that when you know they are looking at you and here you are stuffing your face no idea what they are saying. Come to find out , I asked him later on that night, what they were staring at me for and why they were talking about me. I had went to school with one of the girls at that table she asked my boss my name and then he proudly told them my weight loss story.
It was endearing to know he is so proud. If you follow my blog you will know he is a huge motivator and keeps me on track most of the time. To hear him tell other people about me was just too funny.
Ok so back to my food mistakes...
In all the rest of the night, was mostly drinks. A handful of chips, a piece of chocolate, some Nibs, oh and my fav while drinking, a piece of pizza!

I did not sleep well at all only had 3 hours of sleep to deal with a morning full of courses. It was a long morning.

Everyone had breakfast at the hotel I just could not bring myself to go. Lots of water over the entire weekend. But no exercise.

I had lunch in a restaurant , I did not choose wisely... chicken fingers and fries. This is the meal I would choose as my last meal before dying. Seriously I love it!!

The convention trade show was a bit boring this year, I did not win anything there are always such nice prizes. I did however see two of my old bosses who only see me once a year at this thing. I had some nice compliments from them.
After the show we decided to do our own thing instead of following most of the people to some jazz festival. We headed to a local pub sat outside and had a great time.
Because I am still single after two years, the girls were trying to tell me that there was as many as 17 guys without girls around me. Instead of flagging down a cute guy they flagged over this weirdo in awful suit to come near me and take a pic...I may share once I get my pics on the pc.

To finalize I need to try hard to be at my goal by next September.
The seminars we had were great at helping me find out alot about what I want, what I need , and how to empower my life. I hope this helps.
