I am still alive... not so much the poor baby ducks I ran over by car on the highway last night. The worst part is I looked in the rear view mirror and here comes a huge transport truck. Let's just say I don't think any of them made it safely to the other side. I cried so hard!
I am not doing so good my sleep is whacked out. Even if I sleep a full night I still wake up during the night. That in turn makes me so sluggish in the morning.
I need to try something different to continue my weight loss. I loved Weight Watchers but I need a new boost to get to my goal. I have made it this far I can not just sit here. I have about 60 lbs to go before I can say I am totally happy.
I have lost 120 I can make it this short distance to a happier me.
Anybody had luck with other plans?
Have a wonderful Friday!!

Sorry to hear about the baby duck incident. *hugs* sad times!
sucky on the sleep thing too. that is not good. it messes up everything else.
im stil figuring out a plan for me... bah its not easy.
I ran over a duck on the freeway a few years back...I felt SO BAD! :(
Sleep is so important! I hope you get a good nights sleep soon!
The best plan that I have is to plan. I have a good week when I plan it out- sometimes that is just not possible, but you try to make due. Good luck to ya! :)
I don't know that you need a "plan" as much as you need to plan more and know what you are looking for. I am still following WW but I have also started tracking at the daily plate. I think points are one thing, but at some point, you have to look at the nutritional value of what you are eating as well. I think this is WW's idea through filling foods/core but that approach isn't flexible enough for me. I try to eat 80-90 percent whole foods/filling foods/core foods and the other 10-20 percent can be the other.
I think it is quite natural at this stage in your journey to want to change and re-plan what you are doing. Maybe look at the WW thing and try to adapt it a bit. Plus have a look at your weight loss results over the last few months and see what can be done to improve them. Although I am a huge advocate for Weight Watchers as it fits so well with every day life. Hope all is going well with the Dude
maybe talk to your WW leader about a way to shake up the WW plan? It clearly works for you....
I've posted on my blog recently about having trouble sleeping due to my anxiety - my doctor prescribed Lunesta, which she said is non-habit forming and it's made a big difference for me. Melatonin works for other people.
I used to do WW and I think it's a great program, but it just wasn't for me. I've been doing much better since I started focusing more on my health and less on my jeans size. Now I do my best not to skip meals and to make sure that most of the food I eat is of the whole, unprocessed variety. I've slacked off a bit lately, but was doing well food journaling without counting points or calories - just focusing on the quality of the food.
Just some things that work for me :)
JESUS...I've been reading your blog for ages, but I don't think I ever knew the exact amount that you've lost...120??!!! That is INCREDIBLE! You should be so proud of yourself.
I just joined Running room...its definitely a challenge if you're looking for that.
As for the ducks...sorry :( at least it was quick.
Ugh - poor ducks.
You have TOM issues a lot! Have you considered switching to the 90 day pill? I love having to deal with that stuff only 4 times a year. :)
